This project was executed on behalf of our client and designed by the Washington DC-based Archi-Textural. The project involved a substantial addition and remodel executed to a modern, contemporary style. The project involved installing panel on top of a rain-screen building envelope, flanked by contemporary doors and windows. The exterior also features a screening system to partially conceal the existing garage. The roof structure was constructed as a butterfly roof with partially integrated gutters. The interior feature an impressive great room and kitchen with open light and space. The steel staircase leads to an open concept master suite, also executed in a modern/contemporary aesthetic featuring a modern hearth and free-standing tub. The project featured several unique specifications, tile, flooring, and wall finish materials that reflect the architect and client’s commitment to a truly modern and transformative design!
